The Mr. Brewer High competition in 1989...one of my favorite memories. I think this is when I was finally accepted by my peers. I didn't fall into any specific cliques, but I was finally recognized and, for a brief moment in my high school life, I was actually inside looking out instead of on the outside looking in. I didn't win the competition, but it put my name out there so everyone knew who and what I was. Posted: 10/14/2008 |
